This retro-future centers on the time where people’s aging genes start to switch off, and people have to stay alive. These people must work to buy for themselves more time. However, a clock is stamped on their arm, which indicates how long they will have to live. To prevent the world from getting overpopulated, they had time as their currency, and it becomes their luxury and their only necessity. Those who are rich have the luxury of living forever; while those cannot afford to buy time will have to rest and think over their immortality. However, there comes a time when a poor young man is accused of murdering a rich man because of inheriting a great fortune of time from the said rich man. He has to run for himself from the corrupt police officials, who were said to be a group of time keepers.
The movie actually revolves around the life of the young man, as mentioned above, whose name was Will Salas. Witness how he saves his life, and how he runs away from the time keepers accusing him of stealing a large amount of time from the rich, but in the end, finds out that his connection with these people will only help him to change the system. Watch In Time online, because this is a movie with a very interesting concept. It is a science fiction that does not center on robots and machines, as what others may expect. It centers on current events, and the current situation of the people, both rich and poor class. It is very interesting how this movie could use time, instead of using money, perhaps. It only tells us that like the movie, our present generation is run through money. The rich can live longer; can get what they want and what they need more easily, basically because they have the money. On the other hand, the poor people need to struggle more to be able to survive, yet they come along troubles where they have to be accused of criminal acts.
